FAQ

Who is this work (Shibari or Coaching) for?

This work is for GBTQ, gay, and queer men who feel cut off from their bodies, emotions, and inner truth. It’s for those who carry deep shame for who they are, struggle with boundaries, or have lost touch with their sense of self-worth. If you feel stuck in your head, overwhelmed by fear or numbness, or trapped in the patterns of the Nice Guy Syndrome, exhausted by superficial connections or unsatisfied with life.

What’s the difference between life coaching and somatic bodywork?

Life coaching supports clarity, integration, and transformation through conscious dialogue and deep self-inquiry (working with inner child, subconscious, meditation techniques). Somatic bodywork, including Shibari and BDSM-informed practices, works through the body to unlock trust, presence, and embodied emotion. You can choose either, or weave both together for more holistic support.

Do I need to have experience with Shibari, BDSM or coaching?

No experience is needed—beginners are warmly welcome. You don’t need to be familiar with ropes, coaching, or any specific scene. Everything is guided step by step, at your pace, with full respect for your boundaries. You decide how deep you wanna go into yourself.

Is Shibari sexual or erotic?

This is not an escort service, but Shibari can become sexual. It depends on your intention and conditions which are discussed before meeting. Sessions may feel intimate, sensual or arousing, depending on what arises, but the intention is always somatic exploration and transformation. Just like in tantric work, orgasm may happen (not from my side), but it’s not the point.

What if I get aroused during a session?

Arousal is a natural response to feeling safe, relaxed, and connected to your body. There is no shame and no need to act on it. We stay present with whatever arises, without judgment.

Is coaching like therapy?

Coaching is not therapy and does not treat mental illness. It’s a collaborative, forward-facing process focused on embodiment, awareness, and living in truth. Presence is the key. It’s especially powerful for GBTQ men wanting to take full responsibility for their lives and wanna work on themselves. It can be a powerful addition to therapy - especially psychodynamic approach.

What if strong emotions or shame come up during Shibari or Coaching?

They are welcome here. Many gay and queer men carry deep shame, grief, or suppressed anger—this space allows them to be seen and felt in safety. Emotions are not a problem; they’re part of the healing.

Do I have to be naked for Shibari session?

No—nudity is not required. In Shibari, skin contact with the rope can be powerful and supportive for the nervous system, but it’s always your choice. If you carry shame or discomfort around nudity, we can fully honor that and work with it gently.

Is Shibari just for submissive men?

Not at all. This is for anyone wanting to explore trust, surrender, presence, or power—regardless of your role or orientation. You don’t need to identify as dominant, submissive, switch, or anything else.

Can Shibari or Coaching help with emotional blocks or sexual shame?

Yes—this work supports deep transformation around emotional numbness, fear, desire, and body image. It can help reshape your relationship with porn, boundaries, touch, and intimacy. It’s not about fixing—it’s about integrating and reclaiming your wholeness.

How do sessions (Shibari or Coaching) start?

The best way to begin is by booking a free consultation call. For both coaching and somatic work, I’ll guide you through an intake process to understand your background, needs, and what’s most supportive for you. You're also invited to fill out a self-inquiry questionnaire.

What happens after a  Shibari session?

There’s always time for aftercare—this can include grounding, stillness, hydration, or conversation. We’ll close gently and make space for integration.

What themes can we work with in Coaching?

We explore identity, emotional resilience, relationships, purpose, relationship with porn, shadow, shame, anger, and inner liberation. Many queer men come with deep questions about authenticity, power, and healing. It’s a space for truth, not performance.

How many Shibari/Coaching sessions do I need?

You can come for one session or work together over time—it depends on what you need. Some men want to go deep fast; others need slow unfolding. We start with a free 30-minute call to see what feels right for you.

Where do sessions take place?

Coaching sessions happen online or in person in Zürich. Shibari and somatic sessions take place at my private space or outdoors in nature, depending on the weather and your preference.

Is this confidential?

Yes—everything shared is held in full confidentiality. I work under professional supervision to ensure integrity and safety. This is a space rooted in trust, consent, and radical respect.

Do you work in other languages?

Yes—I offer sessions in English, German and Polish. You’re welcome to express yourself in the language that feels most natural or emotional. Switching languages mid-session is also totally okay.

How do I book a session?

You can contact me through the contact form or services page on my website, or via Instagram. You can also use the Free Consultation button just below to book a first call. Please keep your message clear and respectful. I do not respond to explicit photos, sexual messages, or escort requests.
